All jokes aside, I truely think that the new 5-series is a hideous looking car.

I dont like any of the newer BMW's out now (Bangle designed )

Sure they may be fast comfy and reliable, but look butt ugly. Like a woman, attraction, or its "looks" in this case is what draws me to a car.

Don't hate the players, hate the game!

In this case, I hate Chris Bangle!

I guess I don't care for driving really fast in really big cars. I like going fast in smaller cars. They feel more nimble.

Julius, how much is that m-5? 80-90K?

Moses, good luck with the Maserati. I don't get those at all. I saw the whole line-up at the NY auto show and I just kept asking myself "who is the target market for these things?" The price is high, but the visual impact is not. At least not to me.

Hey fellas, what about the Lexus IS 350???

Hmm....they do look alike....

My friend is leasing one for 3 years(I think) for $900 a month. He said MB is willing to deal.

If anyone likes armadillo, he/she should go and lease one.

What's up with the headlights, MB designers could not make up their minds or something?

Sorry for the tangent Bill. I couldn't resist.
they do look alike....ugly design

Bill if you look for a cool looking car and still have some power for under $40k..take a look at the TL..not a bad looking car, plus its a Honda.

Engine:
- Type: 60-degree V6, direct injection, aluminum block and heads, certified Ultra-Low Emission Vehicle (U-LEV II)
- Displacement: 3.5 liters
- Valvetrain: Four cam, four valves per cylinder, with continuously Variable Valve Timing with intelligence on intake and exhaust valves (Dual VVT-i)
- Compression Ratio: 11.8:1
- Fuel Requirement: 91 octane Premium Unleaded
- Horsepower at RPM: 310 SAE hp (231 kW) @ 6400 rpm
- Torque at RPM: 280 lb/ft (380 Nm) of torque @ 4800 rpm
- Electronic Throttle Control System with intelligence (ETCS-i): The accelerator pedal position is sensed and relayed to the Engine Control Module (ECM). A small electronic motor then opens/closes the throttle as required. ETCS-I simplifies engine control by replacing idle speed control, cruise control and traction control.
- Acoustic Control Induction System (ACIS): The engine uses high intake pressure pulses to pull an unusually high volume of air/fuel mixture into the combustion chamber, supercharging the engine and increasing torque.
- Acceleration:Lexus U.S. lists a 0-60 mph time in the upper 5-second range
- Fuel Economy: Lexus U.S. describes it as "in the high 20's".
