It reminds me, I need to go to the basement to clear up all the ashes from years of using the fireplace.

I dread the day I have to open that little door........it is going to be very messy.

 

You mean when you are done with a fire you just dump the ashes down that chute.. - i can get you a tyvec suit from work

Thomas just hit it with your shop vac and put a damp sock on the outlet of the shop vac to keep the ash from flying
