Thumbs up Looking for advice

Well, it's time to replace my tires. Again. Last time around I stayed with the OEM S02's from Bridgestone. I've read through the tire forum, but am looking to see what you folks are running on your S. Thoughts?

I love the brand new top of the line Bridgestone offering, the RE-01R. They are billed as a step above the S02 and RE050, and at the auto-x Pinky proved they were much better. If you're staying with the stock wheels, I think it's a great choice. Also, I hear great things about the Falken Azeni 615's. They'll get you better tread life at a much cheaper price, but will probably sacrifice ultimate grip a bit.

Thanks, Erick. I'll stay away from the Falken's. I'd hate to sacrifice grip. You know, just in case I have to follow you again.

I wouldn't even consider the Falkens a sacrifice compared to anything else but the RE-01R. From the glowing reviews I've heard they are great, it's just the RE-01R's are practically race rubber. The Falkens might even be a step up from the S02.

I use magnums they're pretty good. Don't go with the lamb skin kind because they don't offer the same protection as latex . . . OH YOU'RE TALKING ABOUT TIRES. OOOOPS!!!!

I wonder who'll be the first to post that they also agree, but that they use Magnum XL's?

Tempting as it is, I'm not touching ANY of the above posts.

And it's killing me not to!
