Default Looking for a catalytic converter and maybe a sensor

Looks like I need to replace the cat and maybe the sensor as well - rattles and CEL. I have an 03.

I was gonna buy one online but was hoping someone here has one laying around that I could pick up locally instead.

If I can't find a used one should I get the Berk instead of OEM, something else?

Car is completely stock.

Thanks!

hey Mas, how many miles have you put on your car?
curious at what the cat would go out at.

you might also check on a warranty claim.
I'm thinking the CAT is a major component.

Design and Defect Warranty Coverage for 1995 and newer light-duty vehicles: * Emission control and emission related parts are covered for the first 2 years or 24,000 miles of vehicle use; and * Specified major emission control components are covered for the first 8 years or 80,000 miles of vehicle use.

Thank you for the cat Mongo84!

Thanks to other folks as well, this is such a great community.

To be honest, I have not yet taken off the old cat so it is possible that the sensor broke and is rattling inside the cat. I will find out soon and post back. The car has 85K miles on it and is an 03, so the warranty will not apply.

Guess if I ever need to put a cat back on the car I know I have people around I can hit up! Some day I might put back in stock cat and put on a header and exhaust. I just know how hard it is to get one that makes power and looks good.
