Steve, which board do you use?
This happened when I cleaned my engine bay with the powerwasher. The connections that go into the firewall are not sealed correctly and often cause shorts to the interior lighting. The prelude tail lights and brake lights are also on the same relay as the interior lights, namely the gauge pod. This is done so if you have an electrical issue or you blow a fuse for your taillights you'll know right away. I would check the connections from the fusebox to the harness that goes into the firewall. I dried mine up and it was the cause of the problem.
Hope this helps

been using prelude power
Give up on preludepower it's a waste of time.
Either pay the $6 for preludeonline.com or use Absoluteprelude. Anyone that knows anything about the car including myself are on those two boards, that's it.
