Steve how about a rest stop on Mass pike.....

Charlton West- between exits 10 and 9-food/bathroom/fuel

or

There is a large commuter parking lot off exit 10a, RT 146/20
Take exit, left at light, first right. (this is where I'd actually pick up the pike.....)
