Sorry to ask such a stupid question but I don't remeber seeing it here before. My Maint. required light came on at 7500 miles. Is there an easy way to reset so I don't have to make a needless trip to the dealer. I've already changed the oil & filter.

It is default to come on around 7500. You have to manually reset it and make it go away.

Look it up in the owner's manual under maintainence. It will show you step by step how to turn it off.

It is a combination of flipping the keys and pressing the trip buttom on the dash.

Thomas is correct it's just a reminder to change your oil

press the trip button for 10sec with the key off then turn the key all the way forward while keeping it pressed. it will shut off
