My first mod!
Even though the chicklet would much rather have a supercharger
I got myself a V-1 for my birthday. I am now having fun learning where all the burglar alarms and door openers are on my way to work
I can't wait to see my first radar spot
Anyway, do you think one of you car experts can take off the interior trim and feed the wire down so that it's hidden? Maybe during Fall Colors? Would I need to bring any tools?
One more question: How will we be paying for stuff at Fall Colors? Just cash, or will checks or credit cards be accepted? Just wondering...Thanks in advance

DD I think Jean is asking about everything else..
My GUESS would be that cash and Credit cards are a good option. I know that rick accepts credit cards... (heck your ATM should work in New York)
congrats on your first mod. the V1 is very very nice.. I'm sure one of the gang will help with the wires and i don't think any tools will be needed as the pillar cover just pops off (Dan and Glenn would know best)

Hi Jean!
Congrats on your FIRST MOD!!!!
Let me know when you are available... and I can take care if it...
Couple questions first....
Do you have the Remote Display? Or the Direct-wire Power Adapter Kit?
Or are you just plugging your V1 into your cig. lighter?
Either way... I can do it before, AT... OR... after the Fall Colors Tour event
Just let me know!

Hi Glenn,
I currently have it plugged into my lighter, but I just have the regular kit, not the remote display. If you could do it during Fall Colors sometime that would be awesome. I am at work now, and am working every day this week right through Friday, so me and Amanda will not be pulling into the Marriott until sometime Friday night. I will probably look for you guys in the bar when I get there, but I can't stay..don't want to corrupt the kid!
We should all let each other know our room numbers when we get there. Can't wait!

Jean,
Do Glenn an install favor and pick up a 10' telephone cord at your local Wally-Mart, he should have the spade connectors and such necessary for making the fusebox connection. Also, to take the trim off...the A-pillar pops right off, no tools needed, but the windshield visor requires a Torx driver (can't remember which size).

Good, I'm heading to Wallmart after work today. What type of screwdriver are you talking about Dan? Looks like a Phillips head to me-am I wrong?
I'm going to pick up a couple of talkabouts today too...although I signed up for the slow(er) group for Sunday's drive
