Default Nasty stone chip

I drove to Richmond last week to pick up the GF for spring break. Long story short, a Prius threw a nice rock at my windshield and i have a wicked chip and star shape on the bottom left. Anyone had any experience having one filled or know a reputable glass shop to have it done at in the Mansfield CT area? I really don't want this to turn into a major crack and have to replace the windshield. Looks like this: Stone Chip

I had one filled last summer after I chipped it in the spring. It was OK for a while but by the end of the summer I could see the chip again.

Personally, I think I had a bad company to the work because I've seen chips fixed much better than what i had.

Just to let u know, I called my insurance company (Geico) and setup an appointment Saturday afternoon to replace my windshield. Its a no fault coverage so insurance price shouldn't go up if anything at all. I refused having it repaired because the windshield looks like complete crap anyways.

In my case I had 1 ding that looks like the link u gave, and I also have 2 others that haven't spidered yet that look like knobs in wood almost? hard to explain lol
