Got the new rear gear installed, need an opinion on a sound I'm hearing. I've brought it back, had it re-looked at. I'm extremely confident in the mechanic who did the work. But I'd love to get someone elses opinions on the matter. I'm paranoid

Wow! Another paranoid owner. Glad I'm not alone. Trouble is, if we listen to each others cars, we'll double our worries. Otherwise, I'd be happy to help....

Had it done at a performance shop near me. Was going to have it done through your recommended shop on Tuesday, but I have to give a speech/presentation at Assumption College that day on filtering/blocking SPAM. Fun stuff. They couldn't get me in any sooner, and was going to reschedule for a later date, but I ran into the owner of a shop near my place. Guy had done many Ford and GM diffs, does a lot of the work for a SHO club in the area (never seen so many boosted SHO contours in my life!), and works on his own drag monsters. Really cool guy.
