I don't mind buying a $500 rex that has been ass raped by some 18 year old. I will most likely yank the engine to be sleeved and re-built anyway to handle the boost. I may even go nuts and put a H22 in it

I would probably also re-do the suspension so as long as the body is straight and rust free, I will be happy.

Registered the S on Tuesday so I am sposed to have it inspected within 7 days... BUT I just noticed that the sticker on the car expires in 7/08. Technically I am still supposed to inspect it as its a new registration, but cant I just let it slide til July?

If I got pulled over would they notice, look for, or care that the reg and inspection are off?

I would just re-inspect it Mike. $29 is less than a stupid fine and surcharge just in case you guessed wrong.

To me... the "right" engine to drop into a CRX is a K20.

Mike, the status of your inspection (date of inspection and pass/faill) shows on the screen if your plate is run. So, if it doesn't jive with the date of registration, you will have problems. $29 is a better bet IMO.

I'm too much of a pureist.

If I had the money I would be on the phone to Moss Motors right now. Moss bought all the rights and engineering data from Jackson Racing. Moss can make me an "original" Jackson Racing Supercharger for my stock 1.6, that is indeed what I would do.

That's good, that will open up your selection greatly!
