Geeez, what is it with you guys and how big it is?
Things don't have to be big to be great.

I got my car up on jackstands last night.
Tonight I'll be dropping the rear two portions of my Spugen Stainless Steel exhaust.
On Saturday I'll be running it out so it can be powdercoated.
I just hate the bling factor of the huge polished mufflers, as far as I'm concerned the only chrome that belongs on my car should be the huge oval tips, so powdercoating black it is.

I'll be registering both cars next week, and I should have the S back on the road week of 4/14, and week of 4/7 I should be able to start driving my fuel sipping urban rocket, the CRX-SiR.

Tonight I put my G20 back on the lift and replace the washer fluid pump. The thing has been broken for about 5 years and not once has it been checked during an inspection. Well... this year they checked it and I got a rejection sticker. I'm really not unhappy about this though, replacing a $20 pump is quick, easy, and much cheaper than fixing my exhaust with a big hole in it.

I don't think they check window washer pumps in NY.

I do know this though, a bit of S2000 trivia.
The S2000's delivered to Canada have a larger window washer tank than the cars delivered to the US. The reason is the Canadian cars get the same washer tank the other countries get that also get the headlight washers. The thought is because the headlight washers use window fluid the cars need more fluid on board. The irony is though, Canadian S2000's don't get headlight washers.

Oh, and of course, the really cool thing about Canadian cars is their sun visors are not plastered with a bunch of crappy stickers.

Steve, I think if you look at just about any board on the net, they have the same requirement on a 2000 post limit. I know MP3car does and they STRICTLY enforce it.

I am thinking of grabbing another CRX to start another turbo project on. Those cars are so cheap to work on and parts are so plentiful that you can set up a VERY fast car for less than a set of decent rims/tires for the S2000.

It would be nice to find a CRX from a salt free area of the country and have it sent up in a truck.

The other New Englander thinking of a CRX project, and no, I'm not counting myself as one. You have competition in your own back yard...

Good luck, they are hard as hell to find. I "shop" every Friday because I'm just interested in the market (well sort of, I really want a totalled car with a good engine and tranny as a spare) and from what I have seen the majority fall into 2 categories, if one of these fits you, congrats.

1- a pristine original car, un-molested by the stupid fast-n-furious mind set, these suckers go in the $6 to $15,000 range believe it or not.

2- a raped car, f'ed up by the fast-n-furious with all sorts of crap and rarely ever have an original engie and of course comes with a ton of questionable work.

I'm changing my search strategy this year. I'm going to begin checking in on the junkyards. What I really want is just engine and tranny, if I can find a crashed Si with less than 80k miles I will be out of my mind with joy, and in fact if I find one with that little mileage I'll get that tranny into my car ASAP, because my tranny is my weakest link at this point.
