The Jeep sat all week...
I was thinking this morning how proud I was of
the oil companies. The CRX-SiR is doing about 29-31 mpg, virtually twice as much as the Titan.

I hear ya, and I understand, but I refuse to cut back my pleasure drives. I'm just constantly looking for other ways to save money...
Actually, it's hard to find areas to cut costs these days. Food prices, heating your home prices, health insurance co-pays/premiums/deductibles, are all taking a bite out of the "extra cash" or what we allocate for "spending money."
We'll still go where we want to, and at least the WRX and the Honda are a more fuel efficient, way to get there, but as much as we enjoy riding around aimlessly, I don't think we'll do quite so much of that. It's OK, because at 40K on the odometer, some of the novelty has worn off.

Yeah, I don't think the S will be as good in the snow as the Jeep.
The WRX has all wheel drive and mud/snow tires...he's good to go too.Maybe I should sell the Jeep and buy a WRX for me?
I got by on $20.00 worth of gas in the WRX this week.

I hear ya, no more eat out lunches, no more every friday fish fries, no more saturday diner breakfasts, no more lots of stuff... but I just keep at it. Just this week I stopped buying 6oz. containers of yogart and went with a 32 oz'er. Now each morning when I'm making lunch I pour out 6-8 oz. into a container and bring that into work. It's not much, but it all has to help...

Nah....unlike some of you die hards, Rick is not interested in driving the S year round.
