Actually, we agree on a lot of things, keep in mind, the Dark Leader happens to be one of my best and closest friends.

The first time I saw a Suzuka it was parked in direct sunlight. The metal flake allows the color to travel, like my dark blue Nighthawk in sunlight gets deep purple/eggplant colored highlights, the Suzuka I saw was looking lavendar, a really light shade of purple, to me it was just nasty.

The only other thing I'll say about the wheels on my spa, most people change their mind when they see them in person. The color is almost impossibel to phpotograph because it is not grey so much a combination of all colors, they are almost a black chrome. Here is a close up of the actual color, it is indeed an extremely complex color that is hard to capture in pics.

I have Silverstone because that was the first S my dealer could lay hands on and I am very impatient I wanted a Suzuka very badly but did not want to wait any longer. Sometimes I wish I had.

My only consolation is that in 20+ years I will have many spare parts and body panels to choose from already in the correct color

Exactly, because if you ask me, Suzuka is just the most ugly color ever created...
it's ok doug,
we really don't expect anyone who actually owns a spaz yellow to capable of understanding the sophistication of Suzuka blue.

hey we love all of our cars regardless of how 'special' they are.

Well, now, that's not nice. I have no problem with the color of your vehicle, just the wheels.

I guess your comment about our little Vintage Blue car just is begging for one of these:

Exactly. In fact just this morning someone in Upstate posted pics of their new wheels. The car is G P White, the seats only are red, the wheels have a big wide silver lip, and the 5-spokes are red like the seats. I replied with I'm not a fan of the look, but it is unique, and in my book, unique is basically the best characteristic something can have.
