I want some props for self control... in 4 days some of us will be driving our S at Watkins Glen And I have hardly written a word about it

But since I have very little self control and it's nearly at an end...

Doug are you putting your top back on for track day?

 

The onlyreason I have the HT is because of the track, so in a word yes.

It will be on from 4/26 till 5/12 because I don't take it off between SCDA and GVC BMW CCA.

And, with the R888's now mounted to the black wheels, this will be my new track look.

 

Cool. It's like a whole different car with the top on. I've now ridden in two S with a top, one windows down (on track) and one windows up (winter, thanks Kenta!). Really changes the way it feels.

Somehow your car is tolerable with the black wheels when the roof is on, dont know what it is but it looks wayyyyyyyy better than in that other pic above.

 

So If Mike survived the dragon? I know he was going to visit relatives after last weekend but would have thought we would have heard something from him by now?

This was the old look, black and silver wheels.



As far as I'm concerned, the stock wheels look like crap on the Spa on the right, but the black wheels and the silver lip really look great on Spa. Oh, and I hate the removal of windshield tape on Spa too. Left = great, right = yuk.
