I was just at Taco Bell getting some take out, when I got to the window. the guy was like "Hey, nice car", I went "Thanks". Some guy from the kitchen yelled out "What car is it?". He replied "Dont know man, there is a S2000 emblem". He passed me my food. Then I said "It's a Honda", petal to the metal, drove away like a bat out of hell. =)

 

I've had people say "That's a honda?" Because they never realized Honda even made a 2 seat roadster/sports car. It probably doesn't help that I have the S-badges. I need to get after market rims and lose the H-Logos to add to the confusion.

 

I've gotten that too. Some washy lookin' girl at the gas station. I have all original badges, but she saw the H on the wheels and had no clue.

Back when we bought the car, my wife's co workers actually insisted that Honda doesn't make a RWD car, and that she must be wrong about it. She actually called me 'cause they convinced her to second-guess herself.

 

i think its hilarious when people try to tell u something about your car!! ive had a kid tell me he test drove and automatic s2000...??? i was like WHAT there is no such thing and the kid continued on arguing with me...

 

that kid must've been a real idiot

I remember a few years back, I actually had an argument with my brother, who insisted his friend had a new 4-door Mini Cooper. (This was long before the Clubman, so there was no chance of confusion). I told him the Mini was only a 2-door, and they don't offer any other body styles. He insisted, and actually got upset that I kept calmly telling him he was wrong. He was so sure, and so angry.

He finally admitted he was wrong when he couldn't prove otherwise.

I stayed quiet, then I told him to hold on and that I will get him a sales person.

 

mine is automatic....................... i swear it is.
