Since we are heading towards winter, how are oil and propane gas prices? A lot of power stations are fossil fuel based so can we expect electricity prices to rise too? If that is the case then electric vehicles (that require charging) may be hit too.
I have seen home heating oil spike in the last week as well - a month ago i locked in at $1.99 a gallon however the same company is now selling oil at $2.59 a gallon - heading off to home depot to buy more insulation and i've been checking craigslist for a wood stove
same holds true for a cord of seasoned fire wood - it went up by $60.00 in the last two weeks
Wow, prices DROPPED a quarter yesterday ($3.50-something down to $3.30 for high octane)...
Releasing those reserves musta' helped and I also heard production resumed in "our" Gulf.
Guess there won't be a demand for all those diesel cars sold elsewhere in the world after all.
Heh,
Randy
