I have seen home heating oil spike in the last week as well - a month ago i locked in at $1.99 a gallon however the same company is now selling oil at $2.59 a gallon - heading off to home depot to buy more insulation and i've been checking craigslist for a wood stove

same holds true for a cord of seasoned fire wood - it went up by $60.00 in the last two weeks

Wow, prices DROPPED a quarter yesterday ($3.50-something down to $3.30 for high octane)...

Releasing those reserves musta' helped and I also heard production resumed in "our" Gulf.

Guess there won't be a demand for all those diesel cars sold elsewhere in the world after all.
