True! after the grim reaper swings his blade tomorrow I will see where I sit and decide from there.

Then I have to decide if I want to keep my nextel for the DC feature only or just can it and make people call me with the regular cell number.

visual voice mail would be nice!

Yeah, I just called AT&T and asked if they could overnight one to me and they said no. earliest I can get one online is next week

I am going to call the local ATT store and see if they stock them.

If not, I have to decide if I want to get one new for full price or order a refurb and wait until next week.

Know of any drawbacks of the refurb units?

Officially part of the iBois fan crew.

Went to the store and picked up a brand new 8gb iPhone today. Got it all synched up and now I am getting it all set the way I want it.

I bought the apple protection plan thing so if something goes wrong I can just bring it to the Apple store in Providence.

Still waiting for my number to port over though.

One good thing I found out is that if you get in on a govt. plan like I did, they can't assess you a ETF if you cancel prior to the 2yr deal.
