Quick question on 04+ wheels on '03
hey people..(damn ive been bigtime missing in action from this site..i had withdrawls, and missed it recently..)
well..i JUST picked up a set of 05 wheels and tires..(3-4 weeks used) from someone (600$)..and before I begin putting them on,,just wanted to know if it will look odd or not if I dont lower the ride quite yet..I just dont want it to look all jacked up and weak with these 17s..hopefully the gap wont be that big,,but thats what i wanna know from anyone here....Also,I really need alignment BAD,my outers have been getting heavy worn out I recently noticed..So its a good idea to take the New wheels when I get the alignment to the dealership right?(or does it not matter if another alignment shop does it,,any difference?I know dealer service usually get careless and not professional, but im unsure on alignments)..so any advice would help..thanks in advance fam

Just look at an 04+ S2000...that's how yours will look...take your car to a reputable alignment shop, someone who knows sports cars...i'm sure you can query people here and they will steer you in the right direction...the dealer probably subs it out anyway if they don't have a machine...good luck, you got a good deal on those wheels...been looking myself...
ya?..ok good looks..thanks for the advice..Ya,I just debated on having dealer do it cause I gonna go there for something else in few days so I thought 2 birds 1 stone ya know..and they charge like 80 they said..is that good/bad?.(Isnt it like 10-15 per corner at other shops I think?).
ya theres few scrapes on the wheels but how can I even complain for that price (I was gettin ready for dumping 800+ just for the Tires alone!)hah

I think 17s look great on the S without lowering. That's just my opinion of course, but I've told myself that mine's the only one that counts.
