while the solstice doesn't exactly look like it did real well in the crash, without the supporting data such as speed, angle of impact etc, you really can't make much of a judgment.

So that's because of the wood heat addition you have?

I'm on natural gas, my firnace is brand new, but my hot water tank is both huge and old, and I fear not very efficient. I want to go with a tankless on-demand system but can't just yet as the new furnace was an unexpected cost just 4 months ago.

oh ya - Gas furnace is 90+% effecient BUT still that's cheap

what's your t-stat set at
