1 thing to watch for with functional brake ducts is driving in the rain. The last thing your rotors want is a steady stream of water coming at them.

Other than that, I'm all for them. Oh yea, my S is a street car so you won't find me installing them.

I say go for it Doug.

Car mods are an awful addiction. My Tein hood dampers just arrived yesterday. They are next to the HKS exhaust, visor plaques, and Top-Down decal for spring installation.

I guess after today there is a Coastal Metals engine cover coming too, jeesh I'm awful.

Yup, I made ducts for my Rex, and what I have typically done is gotten the tube close to the holes in the backing plate, but not connected, this way the amount of spray is really reduced.

Took my 2 years of tracking the stock S, before I got down to my lap times of the heavily modded CRX-SiR.

Tell me about it, and I have to be sooooooo careful this year because on a complete surprise I dropped $4.5k on the house this fall, something about not having any heat because the furnace died left me with out any choice but to spend the money...

But then there's no fun to installing them. I believe sireousrex said something like "If only we could mod our wives, then we wouldn't spend so much on the cars"
