Egad, the above probably makes no sense to anyone but Doug "He" is Ian - owner of SCDA driving school -- Bill and Ann are Ian's parents!

I went to Carbone Honda this morning. Had an 8 AM appointment to wait for the car. I got there about 10 minutes late thanks to heavy ice on the car this morning and hitting every red light between home and shop.

I was still out of there before 9 AM and other than no wireless DSL it was a pleasant experience. I had to find my phone cable and figure out how to setup dialing to include a 9 (for outside line), then pause then the #.

The service writer also let me look at a very cool "10 years of Honda in CART" book that was on display. I asked about buying it but no one could come up with a price!

The book had a great pic of Andre Ribeiro winning Honda's first ever CART race at NHIS (one reason why that little track is special to me to drive at). I guess I'm glad they could not find a price, I got out of there for only $25 for the LOF.

I then drove to Brattleboro to pickup my DVR (yeah!) so I can record and watch all 17 hours of the Rolex 24 coverage on the 26/27th

Yup EFN Dial up! I'm working on a letter to the shop owner now There was a wireless network on site but you needed a password to connect to it and everyone played dumb about it that I asked

They do have a nice waiting area though with desk, carpet, nice chairs, big TV, free coffee.

Watch it sonny Just unpacked the DVR - waiting for it to boot up. Then I have to call I guess to activate. It was crazy in their office when I picked up.
