Ok... for everyone South of 495...............

Is it cool to say we can meet at the rest stop off of 128N in between Exits 30A and 30B??? I already told Dan he can meet me there at around 9:15....

And actually I think it should be sooner....... Say around 9:00........... 9:10 the latest.

Ok, I just got back from Philly yesterday so I have not had a chance to talk to any of the honda mechanics at Peters although I doubt they would swap in the aftermarket parts. Can't hurt to ask. I will there at 10:00. my mobile number is 617-901-7993 if anybody loses their way. I don't have the directions on this computer and my other machine finally gave up its primary hard drive after 6 years all while I was out of town. See you all in the morning.

There is enough room there to still meet up. Jim and I will be there shortly....

Well all went well..........except for Aaron having a bad day. Just nothing going right! Not correct fluid, dead batterie! Ack!

All else went fairly smoothly! Glad everybody had a good time and had fun Playing X box for most of the night.

MANY THANKS TO: Dana and Glenn for helping with my diff oil, tranny and brake pad swap out!

As for the pads I was about 50% or less gone on 42,000 miles of wear! No track days. I wanted to do my rears but nobody would let me. I did though change my fronts which looked to be made of another type of compound......though was for the S. So I put them on and took that baby out. Much MUCH better pedal feel and stopping ability. I think doing the rears is needed!!!! Something just isn't right with those old OEM pads.

I will think about keeping the pads for a track day!

PS: I CAN NOT BELIEVE HOW EASY IT IS TO CHANGE THOSE PADS!!!

The new pads or the rears? Answer is NO to both. Though the stopping and pedal feel are so much better as I said before.

Any clues guys on how to get the rears off? Anything specially different then the fronts?

Jim,
I think the only difference is that you have to turn the brake pistons in, instead of using the C-clamp....the remaining set-up is pretty much the same as the fronts from what I recall.

Jim,

I have a tool for the rears that makes an easy job even easier. It also turns out that I will lose my vacation if I don't take it so I have the rest of the year off . If it ever stops snowing give me a yell and come on up. I think glenn was thinking of coming up and I still need to change over my transmission fluid as well.

Thank you everybody for the secret rear diff drain tool and the manual. It was not necessary but it was greatly appreciated. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!

PS. Did we ever determine what happened to Derrick?
