Well I can say that after 4,000-4,500 I feel the car getting sluggish! Depending on use is correct! I run the car hard but still I feel much better changing at 4,500 and ITS BLACK THEN!!!! I have done a lot of driving and a lot of oil changes in this car. Approximatly 9 times! Anywhere from just shy of 4,000 to almost 5,000 and let me tell you its just nasty at that point.

I will not try to argue with the expert but I can tell you my experience and literally feelings in how the car reacts. Aka: It likes new oil. Its only 20 bucks for oil and 5 for a filter and a washer. Wahoo!

Jim,
Just let me know when you want to take your car into Bernardi's to have them resolve the shakes and I will give you a ride home....I think you need about a month's notice to them for the appointment. As far as checking the plugs for proper torque, let me know in advance when you want to do this so that I can borrow my brothers 3/8" ratchet extension. As far as doing the valve adjustments, we are probably better off using Tom's garage for this, since it is kind of a messy job....we can see how it turns out on Glenn's car

1.5 hours of continuous VTEC at track events and about 5-8 minutes of continuous VTEC a day at the autocrosses. Or an indeterminant amount of VTEC around the cloverleaves...

I can bring up a can of oil if we can get it tested to see how bad it is!
Or we can take a look at it to see how dirty it is after almost 5K miles. Better filter? I got the regular Honda one..........dunno how many holes in it though. I will have to look when I get home.

Yes S2Ktaxi I'm sure you do your share of VTECing I was just playing with ya.

He did one when I did earlier this year. It was on 7/28/01.... and yes I cheated on figuring out the date... I have my Dyno sheet here at work.... Framed and Laminated....

YES.... I was joking about the last two items
