I didnt loose power at all!
I have a propane fireplace in my basement rec room so if I did loose power I could keep the place from freezing.
No real tree damage either.
I have been very busy with insurance claims however!
My friends jeep got hit by a tree branch while parked at her Condo complex. Now the soft top has a nice big hole in it. Question: Does the condo association's insurance cover her auto deductible ($500) or does she just pay that herself?
ok so here are the first photos, these were shot Saturday afternoon so most of the ice is gone. but the damage isn't.
The interesting part is these were shot on the road that was OPEN.
Imagine the mess on the roads that were closed.
cell phone quality while driving.
Day 6. Good news, they cut and cleared the tree that was leaning on the lines yesterday. Still no power, but I talked to one of the fireman handing out free bottled water at the emergency center, and he said 85% of my town will be back up by last night and 95% will be back up by Thursday. I hope I'm not the 5% Maybe I'll get power back just in time to lose it again during Mondays storm

Hey, just think of the $$ savings not paying for electric. You might save a whopping $30 this month!
lol, my wife and I were just saying that last night From what I hear the 5% are those with drops to the house that have been torn down (I've got an underground feed to the pole ) and they won't see power until possibly xmas
