Default Suggestions of what to do while she is down?

Car is out of commission till I can save up for a new Short Block and get her up to Ballistic. Wondering if there is anything special I should try and do over the summer while the weather is warm and I can spend a few hours in the garage.

Potential things to do:
* Hold a Tech Day over the summer and have someone bring a PC to buff out a scratch on the rear quarter panel.(late summer after my deck is built)
* Clay Bar and Wax her 2-3 times over the summer
* Spray under body in key areas with rubberized sealant. Especially where it's flaking off in wheel wells.
* Check and possibly re-build speaker spacers in doors.
* Cut out of ABS plastic roll hoop inserts to cut down on cabin wind.
* Wash/clean engine bay and then detail.
* Remove heat blanket from underside of hood, hose and lay dry.
* Clean underside of hood.
* Look for any under body rust spots and spray with Rust-Oleum or rubberized sealant.

Not that I am going to do all these but they are cheap/free. I already painted calipers & installed new brake lines, hit all the boots with silicone spray.

If you have other ideas lay them on me.

Put the car up on jack stands and remove the wheels. Spend some quality time detailing each one. Remove seats and clean out your interior/ shampoo carpet.

Put up on stands/lift and ginve the whole underside a good thorough inspection. Check sway bar mounts, control arm welds (if AP1), shock bolts brake hoses/lines, etc. Great time for detailed inspection of major components.

Cancel your plan to buy a new short block, buy a used engine with low miles on it, swap it out and get back on the road fast.

I looked into the low miles thing but really don't feel like buying someone elses problems. and the costs that I have seen for a full blown used is about the same as a brand new short block.

I know the head has 110K on it but Scott will be checking everything before it goes back on. She will only get reved to 8500 at best so as long as the retainers are all OK I will probably keep them stock. Might upgrade to AP2's while I am at it if it's not to much cost since the head is already going to be off.
