Plus, who knows in 10 years when they come out with some study that says
keeping them in your pocket liquifies your hip bone, then what do we do?

I love texting. It allows me to have conversations with someone when I am too busy or unable to sit there with a phone glued to my ear.
Myself and the person I am communicating with can do so as we can instead of being forced to get it all out at one shot and stop everything else.
It doesn't replace voice calls by any means, but it does have its legitimate purpose. Plus I love how the iphone keeps a running record of everything you have texted between you and someone else. I can go back a month and see info that someone told me without having to write it down or ask again. It payed off the other day when I needed an address to meet someone again, and I had forgotten it.

I'll be back "full-time" shortly. Living on the road for a little while and no more s2ki at work. I linger on the BB but it's a PITA to post.
I'm doing well Dave

I miss seeing your posts. Hope to see you sometime soon.
1 less person in the house now. Going to take some getting used to.
