It's been almost a month w/o a reply and I am reviving this thread!

Ryan, is there any update on the helmet buy?

And a reminder to everyone; your best bet for doing a track day with other S2000s will be the day after Nor'Easter, Monday August 18th. Visit the Nor'Easter Track Thread for more details!

The NorEaster organizers had a great meeting today. This event is shaping up great, and we plan to reserve some hotel rooms in new Hampshire for Sunday night before the track day. We will have a blast, so please sign up soon.

I'll keep my eye open for this information. I'll be meeting you all at the hotel Sunday night for Monday's track day.

I'm going to call Monday morning and setup a block of rooms. I figure I am more likely to be able to speak with a manager then, than on a Sunday night.

This is not a super high end place but it's clean and has all the things you need like a bed and shower Actually, the list of amenities includes much more, like Laundry facilities so some of us can pack less clothes

You also get WiFi, a Pool, Continental Breakfast (starts at 6), and Snack machines. Only 5 miles to the track (10 minutes). And it's next door to an all night truck stop in case you need anything at 2 am

We should look into nearby restaurants for group dinner Sunday night... I will try and research that. In the 2 years I've been going I have not ONCE been out to eat in Loudon... I've only driven to the hotel, slept and gone to the track.

If there are any other crazy advance planners out there the hotel info is:

Red Roof Inn
I-393 at SR 106, Exit #3
2 Staniels Road, Loudon, NH 03307
(603) 225-8399

Sorry to say- at this time I can't get my hands on any helmets that are not for the motorcycle industry. If anything changes - it would be with Bell - I will let you know.

Sure you could! Just make sure you put the visor all the way down to protect your eyes.

So, was that a cash transaction or some kinda trade?

Steve worked her down before I got there. Then I showed up and gave her cash.
