there are many taxfree bonds, also if you make more than 350k you can't deduct as much. and then there is Ira and under the bed ...no tax on the money under the bed.

Deduction for IRA contrubution phased out at $103,000, for joint, married both covered by company retirement plan.

Don't bet on it. I think I recall turbotax saying above 110k joint child credit goes away.
