A few weeks ago, I got a chance to meet up with my uncle that I hadn't seen in about 5 years. The group of us were having a conversation about stupid teenage pranks and getting arrested. And before I could say it, he made a reference to the "Group W bench."

I have a "prank" ready for this fall. The town dump is only about a mile from my house, and it's on a fairly well traveled road. I'm going to get something like a shower curtain liner and write with marker "CLOSED ON THANKSGIVING" in big letters, and hang it on the gate across the opening the night before Thanksgiving. Hopefully it'll get a few laughs.

I "think" we may hit the Rangely area, AND the Kangamangus Highway area. Just a 2-3 day trip.

Going to wait until last minute to make reservations, not leaving town if weather sux. I don't want to deal with cancellation fees if we change our mind.

Thanks for all the suggestions.

Well if your still going through CT route 7 let us know. We could do a small Litchfield CT drive which is up that way.

Yeah, great road. A former member, Zib told us where to find it the last time we were there. No huge RVs in front of us!
