I've had it for years I'm so used to it now I work around it...click something
that will take a long time to download, go wash the dishes, start the
laundry, take a shower, make the bed and VOILA! I come back and
it's DONE!

good thing I never have that hankering.

I still have earthlink because I don't want to have to change my
email addresses and notify the world plus go on all the sites that
use my email address as a login and change those too.

Unfortunately Comcast has a bit of a monopoly where I live. No Verizon FIOS, no other cable providers that offer decent channels and because of a stupid tree behind the house I can't get DirectTV or Dish.

Bundled with Internet is not too bad, although I only use one TV and HDVR box with no "premium" movie channels. Their HD channel lineup is not bad, I just wish they add SPEED HD They keep adding it in other cities but nothing in Boston yet.

Still, if there were other alternatives I would probably drop Comcast in a heart beat, their cable box user interface is awful too.
