Windshield replaced...
Thomas, I went to my car out in the parking garage. I think I got a good idea of what you are referring too. And no there is no gap. You will have to probably loosen the pins on that plastic cap and reposition it. I bet it could be some excess glue that is preventing it from sitting flush.
Here I took a pic with my crappy digital camera:

Good luck.

We know you don't like being a passenger, but make an exception. I'll make brownies, with nuts. Thomas can't eat nuts.

I called the executive glass people and they foward my call to the manager. He was there when his guy installed the windshield. It turns out, it is a common cosmatic thing probably because of the sealants. As far as water getting in thru this gap, he said the space under the cowl top assembly was not designed to be water tight to begin with.
I drove to the nearby Boch Honda dealership, spoke with Ron (a mechanic), he actualy volunteered to look at my car when his manager was brushing me off (Ahole). Ron confirmed that, it is only cosmetic, water gets in anyway, it will drain off thru some holes below the cover anyway.
The conclusion is:
"Once again Thomas scares himself silly
"Hey I learn something today, ok!?
Steve, don't say a word!
