It was everything you guys promised me!

It was fine. The food was good. I had the "mini" steak and that was plenty. The company was excellent.

Truly, it was fine.

Not fancy. Our food was good.

Your description of the place was good. It may not have been as "divey" as you thought. No one at any table took their teeth out after eating, so I'd go back again.

Though if it was my first date with Rick I'd wonder why he spend $ on a car and so little to take me out. , but that's not the case.
