Default WTB Rolling Chassis for project car

Hi everyone

I was just wondering if anyone in the new england area had a s2k rolling chassis for sale that they will not be needing. I was hoping to build a race car in the near future. I would like one with minimal damage without motor. Please send all offers to sxychnamn@hotmail.com. Include some pics and price in email. Thanks a bunch.

Unless someone owns a junkyard, why would someone have a S shell laying around? The only reason someone would probably have a S-"shell" is if it were in a accident (so it would be damaged and need work) and then parted out or if it was stolen and bought back from insurance. No one around here (i doubt) will have a perfectly good shell. This is not like a civic or integra where you can find shells easier, as they are more common and get stolen often for thier drivetrain etc because most thier parts are interchangeable. Such is not the case with the S, with the exception of the seats and shiftknob and maybe a few other bits.
I would suggest checking EbayMotors.com

I have seen damaged S2K's there before for sale. But i dont ever recall seeing a shell for sale. But check it, ya never know

Thanks for the reply Portugueses2k. I can see that the percentage of shells lying around were probably in major accidents, something I won't want. I'll just wait a little longer and purchase a running s2k. Thanks again. Do you know Jeff Borges?

Yeah, youre better off saving your $$$ and buying a good clean and running S and modify it to your taste

Oh, and Jeff Borges doesnt sound familiar, but i know alot of Porkchops by face. Is he from around our area? He wouldnt be from the Glastonbury/East Hartford area would he?
My buddy Luis with a twin turbo Z says he raced a silver S on rte 2 a week or so ago coming back from the casino. Said he the guy in the S was Portuguese also but he never seen my car or heard of this forum Im wondering now is this him

I was just checking out ebay and i found this beauty

That looks like a lot of work to get it running considering the motor is blown but a good deal if someone doesn't mind all of the work.

Pm me if you get this and need to build a motor.

I can either build you a motor for your needs or supply you with everything you need to get this done.

OMG, that thing is all f@cked up!
You sure you wanna get into something like that? Seems like alot of work and by the time youre done, you probably couldve bought a clean titled used S!

If you notice in the pics, this guy left the car parked outside and the who knows how long ago the top was slashed! Its been sitting there with a hole in the top through all the rain etc And its no wonder the car was broken into when the car is sitting outside all the time. I know jersey city has some bad areas too

If he is building a track car I am sure he is going to gut it anyway. All the carpet will be gone , and most of the plastics . He can choose any seat and steering wheel combo he wants. Remove the whole soft top and motors ,and replace with a hard top and cage. This looks to be the perfect track car. Everything you don't need is already gone or damage . That way you are only paying for what you need not what you were going to replace anyway.
