a cop is on the freeway, and im on the frontage road clearly speeding, and he then exits gets behind me and pulls me at the next light, he said he has paced me @ 75 ......................was really doing like 95.......am i screwed or can I succesfully fight this ticket!! already have 11 points.............one more and su long!!

 

Well...you have a chance of fighting the ticket, but good luck. The officer doesn't have to show up to court anymore so, if you have had driving school in the last 18 months, then you are up the creek without a paddle. I hate to say it, but you really have to screw up quite large to get 11 points taken off of your license in a one year period...I don't even wanna know what you did to accomplish that, but if my memory serves me correctly, I have seen you driving and have heard stories of your driving and it wouldn't surprise me.

WELL IM NOT THAT BAD.. TO BE HONEST, I HAVE ONLY 2 TICKETS ON MY RECORD ONE IS 104 MHP IN A 50, AN 8 POINT TICKET. SO I KIND OF GET WERE YOUR COMING FROM ON MY DRIVING, HOWEVER IM JUST A STRONG BELIEVER IN DONT USE IT..DONT BUY IT!! I HAVE LOVE FOR THIS CAR AND DRIVING IN GENERAL, I DONT KNOW TOO MANY PEOPLE MY AGE WHO COULD GET THIS CAR, NOT TO MENTION HOLD ON TO IT FOR SO LONG...........WITH JUST TWO TICKETS AND AN S WITH ONLY MINOR COSMETIC BLEMISHES @ 65K. I THINK IM DOING PRETTY GOOD...... MOST kids MY AGE WOULD HAVE SPUN OFF A CLIFF DOING WHAT I DO, NOT LIKE I HAVNT HAD CLOSE CALLS BUT I NEVER WRECKED HER!!!! IM SURE YOU HAVE DONE YOUR SHARE OF SPIRITED DRIVING... AS FOR THE TICKET I JUST NEED TO HOLD OFF ON COURT(CLOSING THE CASE)UNTIL APRIL 23.. THATS WHEN THE 8 POINTS LEAVE MY RECORD

 

Keep trying to get a continuance then...but April is a long ways off, it will be hard to delay a traffic violation for over 4 months. I would suggest trying to obtain an attorney's help in the matter...they may be the only thing that saves your license. On one final note, if your license does end up getting suspended, you DON'T want to drive on a suspended license and get caught... that's almost guaranteed huge fines, jail time, or probation, and none of those are very much fun.

well my court date has come and they dismissed the speeding and gave me driving without a license instead of suspended drivers license! looks like i lucked out again, when will my good luck end??

probably when they see that i dont have anymore cash for them, i hate the government, if I were some poor kid with no cash they would have just taken my license a long time ago!!
