Default ticket

damn, i got my first ticket the other night...52 in 35 or so the cop cited me for...laser too. its totally bogus. i was driving at the flow of traffic, not intentionally speeding and all of a suddent red and blue lights flash behind me. personally, i dont think i was driving all that fast...seriously! it would be one thing if i was intentionally speeding and cited the ticket but i was just cruising. anyway, im thinking of fighting the ticket and looked into ticketassasins.com but im kinda skeptical. do the steps in fighting the ticket really work? also, if i contest and lose, can i still attend traffic school? the reason i ask this is because i think ive seen somewhere that if the ticket is contested, traffic school is forfeit. any insight appreciated.

By law even if your going at the speed of traffic, they can pull over whoever they want. Ur still breaking the law, but hey, i'm sure everybody in the s2k breaks it several times on a daily basis Also, i never used ticket assassin before but i hear it works wonders, it couldn't hurt i think.

There is the universal speed law, which states that you can go faster than the posted speed limit (but not faster than the max highway speed) if the conditions are alright for it.

Universal speed law? Never heard of it. Maybe thats true for California, but here in the land of the wizard, you'll get a ticket just the same!
