INSPI(RED) 3v3 Charity Soccer Tournament
Hi everybody,
S2ki.com forums used to be an addiction of mine, but then I got on the wagon. I realize I haven't been to a meet in years and most of you currently on the board don't know me, but I am appealing to the good nature of New Mexicans and their love of The Beautiful Game... Soccer! I am the local organizer of the INSPI(RED) 3v3 Charity Soccer Tournament happening in Albuquerque August 20, 2011. Please check out my website at www.abq3v3.org to learn more, see what you might be able to do to help, and even (hopefully) sign up!
The event will run from 12pm to 7pm at Arroyo del Oso Park in Albuquerque (Spain & Wyoming). Registration is $20 per person, players must be 18+ and teams may consist of 3 to 5 players (3 players on the field at a time). All skill levels welcome. 100% of player registration fees go to the charity. Top teams will be awarded (donated) prizes, and there will be a raffle as well. Top prizes include: iPad 2, widescreen monitors, Nike Soccer balls, and more!
The parking area at Arroyo del Oso park is pretty nice, so if you wanted to organize a drive the morning of the tournament and then end up there, I could set aside some of the parking area for s2ki/nm. Depending on the turnout of the tournament, parking may be at a premium, so I would ask that only s2ki members participating in the tournament occupy spaces in the actual lot. Or not, I'm a flexible guy. :-)
This is something that only people in NM would have an interest in, for the most part, so I didn't think it appropriate to list it in the national off-topic section.

P.S. Yes, I still have the s2k... 05 AP2 with about 10k on the clock.
