Rollin' on slicks!
Yeah...Rollin' on slicks...damn near on the REAR tires. Anyways here's the deal, I don't care to spend $500+ on 2 new S02's since they have barely lasted 14k mi. I know that I will probably drift all over? Just think tires should just last a little longer. Thinking about some YOKO AVS dB S2's which will end up being about half the price of the Potenza's. Any input would be great! Experiences with other tires?

Well I would go with a potenza re750 good tire at a reasonable rate, currently I have had the fusions for about 6k now and the rears are almost half worn........to note I have not drivin as hard on these as I have on my 2 previouse sets of re7's.....
so2s I got 11k and they run 900$$
re750 I got 16k with lots of burnning out and drifting...vtec the whole time,they run about 650$$
and I am still running the fuzions, have been taking it easy on these looks like I will get about 12-14k they ran me 450$$
I like the re750 for the performance and price, but if you can afford it I would go with so2s....BTW you want 225 frt and 245 rr to maintain oem spec...dont ask just do a search...

I have the Kumho Ecsta Supra 712's and I like them a lot so far....damn good dry traction, and the wet handing is superior to the S02's. Treadlife will be nice as well. Brian is correct in the tire sizing for non oem tires...it's like this:
There has been lots of discussion and I wanted to help clear this up.
This advice applies to the Stock Rims, with NON-OEM tires
If you are not running the OEM tires on the rear of the S2K, you should be running a 245/45/16 in the rear.
Our stock 225 is NOT a real 225 and has a 8.5" contact patch which is the same as just about all other 245's out there.
205/55/16 in the front.
That's all you should need...

Thanks for the info guys! Now I know the correct aftermarket sizes. Good thing I asked before I went to Discount and the recommended 225/60's and I would be driftin all over!

If you can fit the bill, the most bada$$ tire I've ever seen is the BFG TA KD. My boy had them on his 300Z and that thing wouldn't slide for nothin. They'll wear a little quicker than the other suggestions but IMO they're way worth it. They'll run a little over $200 a tire.
