Default Becareful Driving on the Highway

While driving to work yesterday morning on 78 East. Saw something flying towards me. Managed to close my eyes in time. This thing came through my windshield and dropped on top of my lap. I was doing about 65-70 mph. I could not believe it. An AXE without the handle. I got glasses all over me. Turn around and went home. So pissed but glad to be alive.

I saw a special on TV once about all the weird things that come flying off the hwys and injuring people. It happens a lot more than you would think.

1 story was about a woman who got impaled in her seat by a metal rebar

Not to mention the turkey insident where the stupid kids threw a frozen turkey out the window and it almost killed the woman behind them.

Consider yourself VERY lucky and I am glad it was nothing more than a broken winshield

Holy Sh..... WOW If that's not a wake up call I don't know what is. Glat to hear that you were focused, got your eyes closed and still have your eyesight not to mention your life!

The more I think of it. Wow! That's just crazy..

Just glad you are okay.

Thank you all. I am okay. Not even a scratch. Talk about bad luck.
I cancelled my GEICO insurance the night before and signed up with Costco / Ameriprise Insurance. Thought they never going to believe me about making the first claim in 7 hours. Not to mentioned my xbox 360 died on me. Second one. The first on was on Chrismas day. Lasted 15 minutes and this second one lasted 3 weeks until last night. Hopefully this is the end of my bad luck. That is why it is so important to make PEACE with everyone. Never know when your time is up !!! Happy Chinese New Year everyone. God Bless !!!

Oh...I am keeping the AXE. Going to Home Depot to buy the handle for it.
