I read somewhere that the only sectors that aren't affected by the economy is the medical field and goverment agencies. The rest are pretty much consumer dependent.

The retail side of my business has slowed considerably over the past 6-8 months but buying coins and collectibles from the public is the best it's been since 1980.

The best time to buy anything is when it's on sale. Lisa and I just bought a place for 36% less then the last sale price in 2005.

Building products are down around 20% nation wide but the company that I work for the sales are up for this year. But from what others are saying in the company we are alot slower now then in past years.

it's good to be a Honda man right now. everyone else is sucking wind. Still, we're down some VS this time last year.
