Default hey metro!.....where to stay on the Jersey shore

I need to get away for a few days and take a vacation....where would you guys recommend to go. I guess I want a tourist spot since its going to be me and my girl. I just want to relax on the beach and get some good food. where's a spot with decent hotels and adecent beach? I know of atlantic city, ocean city, and wild wood. would you recommend any of thos or somwhere else?

thanks

She will Cape May. All Victorian foo-foo $h!t.

Avalon is nice too.

Getting a room might be difficult, if you can wait until the weekend after Labor Day, rates drop by 50%.

Cape May! good combo of places to eat, quiet, good beach close to AC and if you must wildwood....

Sorry HiPER but Wildwood isn't cool unless you're a teenager sneaking out of your parents Motel.

+1

You may also like to check out Spring Lake, Long Beach Island, and Ocean City.
Yes there is an Ocean City NJ Really though Like Freq said you'll save a ton
of dough if you wait till after Labor Day. That is actually my favorite time to go because
the water is at its warmest and the crowds are gone. Most people that own a home
in South Jersey will tell you the same thing. After Labor Day the tourists are gone and
its mostly the Home owners down there.
