Hey I was paying $3500 right after I got the car 2 months ago w/ Liberty Mutual
w/ 1 accident 3 yrs ago.......so i thought it was fair

then I got an application for NJ Manufacturers (its hard to get in) and was surprised that they offered my a prefered customer tier (30%discount) which gave me a premium of
$2667 per year under my name - I still have to call them to switch my insurance I just got the quote this week! But until now I haven't found anything this good

You need to be/have been a commissioned officer in the military, or be the child of one to get it, but USAA is one of the best insurers around in my opinion. I pay $2300 per year with them; $1400 for my Integra daily driver and $900 for my S2k listed as "pleasure use" only. And for every year that USAA takes in more money than they need, they send refund checks, Yes they send us money back. Can't beat that with a stick!

Yeah state farm sucks.
They want out of Jersey so they jack up everybody till they leave them.
My brother has Liberty Mutual and they are pretty fair.
He only has to pay $900+ a yr. for his RSX type S as his second car.
And $1900 for his Celica GT

I have Re-Insurance part of Manf. Insurance the best tier, but don't have a S2000 yet.
I am waiting for them to put me into NJM.

I was on Prudential but I guess they must really want out of NJ because they've accused me of lying on my insurance application 3 times and even though I've been able to prove otherwise, they doubled my insurance bill to $6500/yr because with all the problems with my account, I must be a "high risk" driver.

So now I'm with NJ Cure, $4200/yr for the S2000, WRX, & CL at $500 deductible. Waiting on a quote from AIG.

Oh, and I'm 25 & married. Get married, it really helps lower those rates!

what insurance compnay do you have? that's pretty low - I thought
$2667 a year was cheap and I am 22 w/ no accidents or tickets.......

is it because you live in the that town?

And is that under your name or your parents name? No way is that under your name as the primary driver.

I got a quote from Allstate for 2250 for the year. I'm 23, not married, in northern NJ, no points on license. Car is in my name. I actually have the car under my own business now, its only 1800 and speeding tickets don't bump up the insurance

I pay $1600/year with $500 ded for comp/collision with Allstate. I'm 26, single, no tickets or accidents and only have one car. I guess I did pretty well.
