after getting my butthole ripped apart by my local dealership, im in dire need of a dealership who is somewhat mod friendly.

my local dealership (i wont say the name) wont perform TSB's and other work that should be covered under warrantee due to the fact that i modified my car.

here's a list of what ive done to the car..

k&n drop in filter
exhaust
springs
wheels

thats it.

my lugnut studs sheared off last week and i didnt expect honda to pay for that due to the fact that i have aftermarket wheels.. no biggie.. but while the car was in for work, i planned on them performing some other work as well..
1. TSB00-054
2. Convertible top striker replacement
3. drivers side window switch
4. check the MAP sensor

they said that they would not do #1 due to my modifications. i have in no way touched the drivetrain and i really cannot see any way for the dealer to refuse the work due to the modifications i have performed.

they will replace the strikers because i went in for that right after i purchased my car and before any modifications. (i guess this is what they call "good will")

they will not do #3 due to the fact that my windows are tinted.. go figure.

they will not check the MAP sensor because of my extensive engine modifications.. filter.

its going to cost me $800+ to replace all 20 studs.. no help from honda there.. i refuse to pay $800 for a new clutch disk, nor anything else.

so if you know of a dealership that might do the work under warrantee, please help!

Try Mahwah Honda in Mahwah or Planet Honda in Union or Passaic. I haven't used them yet because I had service done in Boston when I was visiting there. I also haven't had any of the TSB work done yet.

Bri , have you tried D & C in Tenafly ?? They did ask me if I had purchased the car there for the TSB.. I guess because it is a time consuming job..

I think Planet Honda of Union and Open Road Honda in Edison
would work on it.
Because i see mod. honda's with blown trans in the Planet honda dealership getting fixed.
And Open Road honda sells mod civics and s2k's.
