id want a mint, clean titled, unmodded/lightly modded 97 itr, so thats not going to happen. i bet there are about 5 left out of the 500 released in america that yr that fit that criteria.
They pop up every once and a while. A little over 4 years ago a 97 with 7k miles popped up. Ended up selling for $29k. There's been others too recently just not as low milage as that.

yea ive seen plenty of type r's for sale. some are clean, have high mileage and are cheap. i want a house with a big garage first before i buy a toy that is stolen so often.

the mint 97 sound delicious, but the price is rediculous imo.

what was I thinking? I wasn't. This car is a lot of fun to drive.

A few days after I made this thread I forgot about the E46 M3. It was just the thought of being in something different for a while. Glad I didn't make an impulse decision.

Well 4 years ago the market for ITR's was a lot stronger. Anything with under 50k was getting very nice prices. I paid almost $19k for mine with 16k miles around that time. Now $15k is more on the high end.
