Looking for the guy in an AP2 at a Pelham carwash yesyrrday
I just wanted to say thank you for your insight, and the pointer to find this section of s2ki. I just purchased my first S2000 (MY2000, black over red) this week, and I now have a great recommendation for a mechanic (Bill) and what seems to be a solid local community to join.

Hi. That would be me. Nice to meet you too. Congrats on your S2000. Been driving one as a daily for 17 years. By the way you’re going to the right car wash. I drive all the way from bayside queens to get my car washed there bc it’s a hand car wash and the guys for the most part know what to do. I’m sure you noticed Im the only person who drives up to a car wash and pays them to personally clean my own car. Lol.
you will find the 99.9% mass majority of s2000 guys here on this site as down to earth and friendly and contributively helpful. I’m pretty much the only asshole here.

The wash we both use is called Dream Clean Auto Spa on Lincoln Ave, just up the hill from 5th Avenue.

Theyre a great spot, and they’ll listen to you about preferences and wants. It’s the only car wash I would go to in the area.
