BAD NEWS: i read the hotel listing wrong...it's actually $378.(yes you can beat me up later!!) per night....so after doing research...hotels farthest away from the center of Montreal (where downtown is, closest to the track) comes to $200 per night (it's about 10+miles outside the center area by the airport)
SOME GOOD NEWS: after researching, the package will actually be more worhth it, only because lodging is in a good location, unlimited metro is included, and the price per person would be AT LEAST $700. I was able to talk to the guy in charge of booking and he says he can take off $75 per package (canadian--i know it's not much) as a group rate. (that's only because i told him 10-14 people).
So for price purpose we decided that bronze grandstand package - plaza hotel centre-ville is the cheapest by far. (im trying to get seats in section 33)
SO with the change in news, how many people are still in regardless?
Mike and I are definitely in regardless.
