From what i've seen the below is true, very true! (not sure about the every 10 minute thing)

??BTW was on the turnpike today and saw a trooper "pacing traffic" that is he was going the speed limit and not letting anyone pass atually weaving to keep everyone behind him. As i got on the road he was around 1/4 of a mile behind me, i looked atthis bizzare traffic jam behind me and slowly got out of his site, since he had traffic cloged up behind me for some time i had the road in fron to myself... WOW! great ride!!! anyone ever seen this happen?

I was doing an install last week for a New Jersey State trooper. While I was there, he told me that starting this Monday, May 2, Jersey will launch a 30 day speeding ticket frenzy. The state estimates that 9 million dollars will be generated in speeding tickets. 1 million will go to pay state troopers over time. There will 50 state troopers on duty at all times patrolling the 9 main intersections and highways. They are the following:
I-295 north and south

1-95 (Jersey Turnpike) north and south

1-80 east and west

I-287 north and south

I-78 east and west

1-195 east and west

1-280 east and west

Rt. 130 north and south

Garden State Parkway north and southI

very interesting....i got pulled over 2 times for speeding in the past 2 weeks driving on I-95...good thing i have a family member PBA card or i would be paying some nasty tickets and not to mention my insurance

They were out again this morning passed two cars with people pulled over and one lurking in the weeds!

I was lucky, I was there yesterday someone was after me for 3-4 min and some a$$hole jumped into the turnpk doing over 80 mph and he went after him

the state troopers were out en'force in NJ yesterday -

I saw 3 radar set ups and about 4 patrol cars (there may have more) on the 18 miles of Garden State Parkway between I78 & I80 - scary ...

seems like this blitze thing may be for real.

Has to be some truth to this. Have seen them in force on the straightaway on the NJ TPK just before the Lombardi Svc area (twice in the last week) and again on route 80 west.

I've definitely lightened up on the pedal.

I agree... so many of them on 1-78 lately, it's ridiculous!

I got pulled over yesterday, on my way to Bald Hill, by what looked like a Dodge Omni... It looked like a tan beater... I got a ticket for guess what.....


Ashing out the window!!! (I was driving with the top down... the ashes would have been sucked out the top anyway... but I was making the ashing motion)



He actually told me that's why he pulled me over... he said... I could give you a ticket for speeding too, but I won't...

I think the fine for littering in NJ is $500. Sux!
