Default Today is not a good day








There is a road a quarter mile away from work, a turn that is perfect for drifting. 2 lane road, no oncoming traffic, no pedestrians. Today, just like everyday, I went sideways. But today, the road is just a bit too slick, my tires just a bit too cold, my skill level (what little I have) just a bit off, or maybe my drifting angel has taken a day off, something something was just not right. Instead of drifting back to the direction of the road, I headed straight towards the wall. I slowed down enough that the hit wasn't enough to activate the airbags.

This is 24 days before the Dragon. Today is not a good day.
