I did consult a lawyer but he said there was no sort of case for being inconvenienced like this.
I'm lucky that it wasn't totalled. I didn't know that if it was they didn't have to buy me a new car, just give me a check for what they think the car is worth. The system's screwed up. Insurance companies and banks are some of the biggest crooks in America and for some reason the laws favor them over common sense.
