Default which dealer best for service?

Many answers will be none, but besides that...

Thinking of getting an oil/filter change and possibly a valve adjustment before my '06 goes into hibernation.

Oil is about 4000 miles/4 years old, car has 36xxx miles.

Which local dealer is recommended?

Also, should I worry about valve adjustment and what is the cost at dealer

Oil change - any dealer should be fine provided they use the s2000 specific oil filter. I usually carry my own Mobil 1 10W-30.

Valve adjustment you’ll have to leave overnight.

Have it done at Quantum or if you’re up to it reach out to Billman and go see him on Long Island. Billman will do your valve adjustment without you having to leave the car overnight

I personally go to Mohawk Honda. Ask for Rick DuPont. He is friends with Adam that used to work there. He’ll make sure it’s done right or go see Jake

^ I recommended Quantum based on what you told me at Lime Rock.

and Steve and crew have plenty of experience working on S2000s too.

Also, Child's Automotive in Saratoga, on Edie Rd can do a valve adjustment in a few hours. They performed the adjustment on my S2k a few years back.

Steve adjusted my valves on Friday. Was happy to see that they were right in spec. I gave Steve Billman's recommendations and he adjusted as per them. I also met his dad while I was there and was just very impressed with not only his knowledge but what a nice family they are. With his vast Honda knowledge I wouldn't hesitate to go back.
